<Casually Addicted> is a raiding guild on the Stormrage (US PVE) server. The guild is compromised of a group of hardcore raiders looking towards the upcoming Mists Of Pandaria expansion. We are like-minded individuals who share a desire to succeed in raiding, and to conquer content fastest and first.

The guild aims to have a small, dedicated raid group as we dominate 25 man content. Members are expected to display excellent awareness, dedication, and overall competence as well as a basic understanding of all class mechanics in a raiding environment. Furthermore, members are expected to show up on time (30 minutes prior to start) with all related raiding consumables on hand.

<Casually Addicted> is a Raiding guild. Not a guild that raids. We do not tolerate players who contribute nothing to the overall raiding environment.


Raid spots are performance based, and will always be open for competition.

During raids, raiders should be expected to be treated like adults. This means that you are responsible for your mistakes, and will be expected to correct them.

Raiders are required to come to raids with at least basic knowledge of relevant raid encounters.

In general, raiders are expected to be at their keyboards during raid time. Excessive AFKing, slow wipe recovery, and not listening to assignments that hold up the raid are not acceptable.

Raid-wide "5 minute" AFKs will be allowed, but will be followed by an attendance check. This should provide ample time for bio breaks, grabbing a sandwich, or whatever needs to be done during raid time.

When "on sit" for raids and earning Credit for being online, raiders must be ready to step into the raid at moment's notice, and know what is required of them. Summons will be available.

If raiders expect to receive items from the raid bank, they are expected to contribute.

Guild funds will always be used to support the raid.


<Casually Addicted> uses ("loot council") because they expect everyone to make 90% of the raids, so attendance shouldn't be an issue (therefore DKP is less attractive.)

# We have a long guild history of focusing on fast, efficient clears
# We have a respectful raid environment (humor does not come exclusively from bashing of various minorities, nor is every minor mistake handled by being chewed out on vent although we do make sure mistakes get corrected and are public when needed)
# We will run a tight roster, so expect to raid with the same people day in day out
# repeated raid-wiping mistakes won't be ignored, and bad players will be benched, not tolerated because of who they know.
